When treating for worms with safeguard do we do the egg withdrawal during the treatment or only after? I’m treating at 0.25ml per lb as our fecal showed thread worms (and pin worms), and I’ve been told that’s the effective dose for those beasties.

Once the medication is consumed, the residue will be in the eggs that come about 26 hours later and beyond. So the first day of treatment, eggs are safe to eat but not beyond.

Can I ask you about the dose for the safe-guard paste. I’m a little confused as to the amount. If it is 0.25ml per pound of weight , a 6lb chicken would get 1.5ml of the paste. That seems like alot. And much more than I gave last December. My 1ml syringe is shown here. That’s like 1 and 1/2 syringes. Is that correct?
