Eggbinding symptoms but no egg

I don't have any calcium pills or supplements, but I do have dry eggshells that I can crush finely. Will that be enough? Should I also offer food?

I will give her electrolytes in water.

Sorry I missed that! She is standing hunched over or sitting.
I would offer food, water, and grit. Maybe some scrambled egg with the powered eggshell sprinkled in it, if that is all you have for a calcium supplement.
I agree! But do you have any Tums? If so, they are high in calcium too and could be crushed up as well.

I will do that!

I'm afraid not :(

Thank you both so much! ❤️ I will be back with an update in the morning.

UPDATE:
She laid a soft shelled egg during the night! Now she's perky and active again. I still plan on giving her scrambled eggs and calcium before she goes back to the coop.

My question is, did I completely miss this soft egg when I stuck my finger in? Or could it have been further down the tract?

That's a relief! She definitely needs calcium supplementation for the next few days. Are you able to get calcium citrate+D3 tablets anytime soon?

Glad she was able to expel the egg.

I would definitely follow up by giving her 1Calcium Citrate+D3 tablet once daily for 5days. Aim for at least 300mg of Calcium Citrate which is usually what 1 tablet is, but you can go up to 600mg daily if necessary. (TUMS is ok if that's what you have, it's Calcium Carbonate, usually 600+/- mg, so 1 whole TUMS is fine).

Possible you didn't feel the egg. Usually best practice now is not to feel inside the vent for an egg, but just to be treating as if the hen is having hard time expelling an egg. This means to give Extra Calcium asap and keeping her well hydrated. Provide normal feed. A heating pad on low can be provided for her to sit/lay on if she's responsive, but she needs room to move from the heat if she wants.

Example of Calcium Citrate+D3 you can find this at stores like Walmart, CVS, grocery, etc.
