I had always, since I was a pre-teen, made an easy, no-cook eggnog from an egg, heaping spoon of sugar, splash of vanilla and a couple cups of milk (Sometimes adding a spoon of coacoa for a creamy chocolate milk).Hi everyone!
I can't find this answer anywhere... I'm attempting my very first attempt at homemade eggnog since I have a surplus of eggs right now.
Should I use fresh eggs or cold eggs from my fridge?
Also, Is there a secret to separating the yolks? I have a feeling I'm going to really make a mess...
Sound great to me! I do get a bit tipsy drinking brandy eggnog, but I tell myself, I only drink 2L in a year in December.Update: turns out I added too much brandy.
