We're hatching quail for the first time and know they need a higher protien intake than chickens. We love the 'what to feed your quail post'

Our question is this, can you feed baby quail chicken eggs?
We usually supplement our chick starter with cooked shredded eggs from our hens, and we'd like to do the same for our quail to boost the protein.

We can buy quail eggs from the grocery store if that's better, we're having a hard time finding organic starter feed with the right nutritional levels in our area.

I would use a Quail or Gamebird starter to feed the chicks.

I use Tucker Milling Quail and Gamebird starter, it's 28% protein and the Quail Chicks seem to grow well on it.

That said, yes, you could feed them chicken eggs, I've given my Quail egg to eat as a treat.
