I'm wondering if it's ok to eat an egg that's been sitting out in the sun all day. We're having a heat wave over here 90+ degrees and I just noticed one of my ducks decided to lay in the middle of the yard today. Not sure how long ago but the egg feels pretty warm. Should I just toss it or is it safe to eat?

If you think it's only been a day it's probably fine. But if you aren't sure throw it away or scramble as a treat for your ducks. My rule of thumb is leaving it out overnight in the summer anything longer than that I usually throw it away. It's not worth getting sick over one egg if you don't know how old it is.
