Eglu Cube & 9ft Run for Sale

We have a 4 year old large Eglu Cube with a 9 ft run, tractor wheels, and cover up for sale. It currently has a manual door, but we have the automatic one still in the box, ready for install.

Unfortunately we've had a steady run of predators coming into our yard over the years. Currently we have a bobcat that is stalking the chickens every evening and we've had to keep them cooped up to keep them safe - which doesn't feel fair. We've been unsuccessful at keeping them protected outside of the coop regardless of several attempts and lots of money spent. The Eglu is incredible and is completely predator proof as advertised, however we don't like having to keep them locked up in it all the time.

So with heavy hearts we are re-homing the chickens and putting our beautiful Eglu coop up for sale. Anyone familiar with these coops, knows they do not come up for sale. So this is a rare opportunity to purchase one used. The same set up with the accessories would cost $1630 new. We are offering it used in good condition for $950. That price is firm, so PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR A LOWER PRICE. Local pick-up only in Renton, WA 98056.

5 chickens are free to a good home as well (2 Americanas, 2 Blue Andalusians, 1 Plymouth Rock).

We have the exact same set up; we understand your sentiment about leaving them cooped up in it all the time. It's just not enough room. That is a fabulous price and if we were not so far away, we would buy it and use it for newbies introductions or a hospital separation space. Good luck with the sale.

Would 6 med sized birds be comfortable in there?

No. You can fit 6 bantams in there no problem.
We had a cube and it can "comfortably" roost only 3-4 and that's really maxing out the space. We had to remove the nesting wall to afford them sufficient roosting space to spread out, which meant someone was always sleeping in the nest. We have 4 medium size birds. I put comfortably in quotes because there was not enough room for them to move about without encroaching on each other.
We recently upscaled to the Pro to afford them more room. We will one day build a "real" coop when we have the time and resources.
Please don't over crowd your chickens. The Omlets are marketed to hold way more chickens than they really can, as most prefabs do.
