I recently adopted a baby Egyptian goose, Ollie. When they are grown up, the males make a hissing sound, the females quack and honk. In the beginning, Ollie would only peep but now there are quacks coming through as well. I'll add a video of the quacking. Does anyone know if the quacking means that Ollie is a girl or do males also make these sounds when they're young?
And no worries, Ollie will get some friends when he or she is ready to go and live outside.
