Embden Geese; How Much Are They Worth?

My mother-in-law picked up a pair of Embden Geese from someone who didn't want them a few months ago, now I have someone who loves geese and wants to buy them. I'm not selling them over the site, but to one of my friends. What is a fair price for a young mature goose? My female is laying, but the pair isn't successful at mating yet.

I'd say 50-60 for the pair. There use to be someone around here that sold Embdens for 20 each but that was 6 years ago.

we bought a pair at $60 a piece and if you sell yours cheaper they are essentially being stolen form you.

You could get a male and female pair from Metzer for about 25 bucks. If you factor in the current age of the geese and the cost of keeping them until sold I would suggest 25-30 each. If you are selling to a friend then 20 each would be an act of friendship.
