Emergency Kit?

Hello,

My family and I are new to raising chickens and I am wondering how many of you keep a first aid kit and what is in your first aid kit? We have fifteen chickens so far and may get roughly five more. We have mostly large breed chickens (Jersey Giants and Black Australorps) so I have read Bumble foot could be an issue. Advice?

I usually keep the essentials such as wrap and ointment. I am working on building a more complete first aid kit. Welcome to BYC!! Bumblefoot is a bacterial infection, so I'd keep disinfectant on hand.
