G’day everyone
I was wondering if anyone who has Emus experience can satisfy my curiosity. I have an Emu chick who constantly shook his head at night when settling down . It was clearly distressing and I thought it might be ear mites but none were found .
he also was clear of lice and now he is nearly fully grown I can still hear his beak hitting the side of the shed at night. Although it doesn’t seem to be as constant as before and not distressing . I also thought it may be neurological?
Anyone experienced this ?
It’s strange I can get more information on Emus from the US than I can from their native country too.
