It has already been happening here with my 10yo DSs friends chickens getting stolen in March...And recently heard news of someone elses being stolen. I lock mine in at night except the 3 in the doghouse. I figure if they are going to steal them then they'll have to work for it and leave prints everywhere.
Then there's our watch rooster that refuses to go into the coops at bed time...He perches on the board above the entry gate, out of my reach(smart bird). Maybe he'll poo on the thiefs heads if they try to steal our chickens.

Update he was returned in a box on my door step im so happy i cant believe i got him back im tickled pink thank you all so much for the support

on easter this year I had a problem with someone stealing some chickens and alot of my call duck breeders. Sad the world we live in today but always remember what comes around goes around in some way.
