I'm keeping 3 for butchering, the smaller pullet is going to a friend.If you had the space you could split these into two groups and really expand from there.
By the end of summer of next year you could have four broods out of the four meaties.
Pair them up, hatch half a dozen from each pair, separate and switch the roosters then hatch half a dozen more from each pair.
These first few are gonna be butchered for meat quality(Tenderness, Meat amount, Flavor, Texture)test.
Next year's batch I'll be keeping back a few for breeding if these first few fit the bill.
