I have one sick chicken (she has been separated from the flock), but she was exposed to all of the others in my flock.

My flock consists of 2 18 week old barred rock mixes, 5 adult barred rock hens, and 1 adult australorp.

In another, adjacent pen with a shared wire wall I have a 6 week old cream legbar.

Please explain how to administer tiagard to the exposed birds like I’m 5? Everything I see about dosage is so confusing! I just want to know how many tablespoons/teaspoons of meds per liter of water to give them!

In this thread below there are links to a couple of other threads about dosage. TiaGard is the same medication as Denagard and Tiamulin. It tastes bad, and many people flavor it with sugar, apple juice, or Karo syrup, but any liquid added will cause the water to be adjusted. Tiagard and Denagard are not supposed to be given orally without diluting in water. Some may give it orally if the chicken is not drinking water, but it tastes bad.
