Fake egg color for nesting box.

I have a bunch of multi-color plastic easter eggs, I am thinking of using the fake eggs so the new layers get the idea thats where to lay. The problem is there is no white or brown, does the color matter?

I have green,red and blue eggs in my nest that are all different sizes and it helped my chicken find out where to lay so I don’t think it matters

I used fake ceramic eggs in white because my girls all lay brown eggs. My “helpful” kids still brought the damn ceramic eggs in every day. Once they brought in 5 eggs (I have 3 birds).

Color doesn't really matter. I use golf balls, had a yellow one for a while and the birds didn't care.

I used multiple different colors of fake plastic eggs when I was training them to the next boxes. They didn't seem to care at all what color they were.

No color doesn't matter....but weight might.
Something heavier would be better.
