Trying to figure out where to post this in the various forums... General breed discussions? No, I don't think he's homozygous for mottled, but he might be carrying it. If he's a mix, it could bleed out in funny spots

So, I was looking up the genetics for Paint (chicken), and tried to put into a generator what the offspring would look like if I paired him with a Black Sex Link (Rudy) and can't get either one to come up.
Any ideas? I am TERRIBLE at chicken genetics!
Here's a pic of the lovely boy.

Another chicken dead. In the same coop that the Silkie roo was in and the female chick. In fact, this was her brother. About three months old I'd say?
Same symptoms, or lack thereof. He was fine yesterday, as always the first out of the coop and to the food in the morning. Put them to bed without issues. This morning opened the coop door and he didn't come out. Checked inside and he was on his side looking dead. Took him out and he was still breathing, a gasp every five seconds or so but completely limp. An hour later he was dead.
The other two chickens in there seem fine, two hens, one is my older OEGB, and the other is a Cochin mix.
This seems to happen more at this time of year (ie, late summer early fall) although the pullet was only about a month old and died in summer. I have no idea what is causing it.
I should have done a necropsy on him but didn't.
Oh I NEED one of those.
Now if only they had a duck one!Oh I NEED one of those.
