Eh, but my horses never do anything picture-worth...except when Boomerang snatches an apple out of my palm or when Whisper chases Pepper around the pasture...or when Pepper gnaws on the fence post...oh boy I need to get some pictures of our horses!
 
I have sheep,goats,chickens,ducks,quail,anatolian shepherds (Which are livestock guardian dogs but they make money too when they have pups,everyone loves the pups from them) horses,rabbits,no pigs at the moment they went in the freezer and we sold the cattle,but will be getting a milk cow soon.

I grew up with a family ranch in Texas (lovely heat down there) but my baby sister has it now. My ancestors had just scrub cattle, but my grandfather had Herefords, just the way he liked them. White face, with brown eyeliner so they wouldn't get cancer eye. My sister has the cattle(cow calf) and then chickens, geese, ducks, milking goats for the house, and riding horses.

I have just a little place up here in Alaska... I am trying to rent out my pasture, I just got rid of my horses this last February... So now all I have are chickens.

We inherited our small 44 acre ranch when my Grandad died. Got the chickens later when we realized the land was overrun by grasshoppers...worked a miracle! I've never lived in the city, but I'm sure nothing could beat the farm life!

We have Herefords too...whole herd was my Grandad's before he passed.

I love Herefords, my grandfather picked them and bred them so that they would be very sweet and gentle, and so that he wouldn't have to spend much money fixing fences :rolleyes:

The fences on the home place are SO bad!

I have cattle, a Jersey milk cow, horses, goats, pigs (for meat), chickens (meat, show purposes, egg laying, lawn ornaments), ducks, quail, ring-neck doves, rabbits, red & blue heelers, Anatolian Shepherds, 2 West Highland Terriers (we keep them for pets but also sell their pups to make some extra income), we're keeping the Boston Terriers until we can find a good home for all three of them together, and a lot of inside pets!
