Feeding cantaloupe rinds?

Before i did it i just wanted to check and see if it was ok to give my 6 week old chicks some diced up cantaloupe rinds?

Cantaloupe is fine but the rinds they are going to get just the soft stuff then remove the scraps .....

It's better to give them the rind in a big piece so they can pick off the soft bits and you can easily remove what's left. And, the guts (seeds) are a favorite! Just don't give too much because as with any fruit, it causes diarrhea in excess.

I diced up the rind and all they did was scatter it all around the coup.
After i realized that didn't work i diced up the soft mellon part and they liked that much better.
