Feeding the chipmunks!

Welcome aboard. Agreed with the above posters. Specialized feeders exist - I'd look at rat proof ones.
Also agreed that you chickens sound plenty tame to me. Chickens aren't like dogs and cats, they don't much care for being touched for the most part. Some exceptions exist.
And if chipmunks can get in, rats and snake may well be able to as well. Just bear it in mind.

The other day I saw the chipmunk sneak in and head for the feeder. All three chickens chased it out of the pen! There are more than one, but maybe they'll get the message. Those chickens have been eating a lot! They are on Grower food now. When should I swithch them to Layer?

Welcome to Backyard Chickens if your run had chipmunks other predators will get in also
did you use hardware cloth or chickens wire is there a top on the run ?
d

There is a top on the run - it's an Omlet chicken tractor. Supposed to be nearly predator proof. I hope weasels can't get in. A hawk already landed on the top of the coop but there was no way he could get at the chickens.
