Feeding Wild Birds

The ducks are discovering the seed I throw down for the doves. How cute is that???

Saw the first Common Grackle of the season. Shouldn't be very long until the female Red-wings and the Yellow-heads show up.
Grackles! They've been here for 3 wks, absolute hogs, had to stop feed, Red Wings have moved to wetland reeds. April has been so wet and cold haven't mixed any Humming Bird feed or washed feeders. Next week, high 60s low 70s with night time in the 50s, hang one and see if they show up.

The only thing I like about the grackles is that they run off the starlings. The Red-wings here stick around in spite of the grackles.
