View attachment 4103398We're up to 28 chicks as of this morning and there's still more pips in the incubator! I know Peach(GA), Bloomfield(NM) and Cypress(FL) are among the hatched chicks. But we've reached the "I can't count that high [because they won't hold still dagnabit!] volume!

What an adorable bunch of fluff! I want to hold all of them!

I forgot to follow this thread, but I’m glad to see that most of the chicks have hatched safely! How are Paradise and Montani?

Beautiful! Paradise gave us a bit of a scare when we put the leg band on yesterday. I guess the umbilicus wasn't quite closed over because he started bleeding quite a bit! We popped him back in the incubator overnight and he was fluffy and feisty this morning!

Final count for the day is 32 beautiful Buckeye chicks!

There are six eggs left in the incubator. We'll leave them as long as Wednesday, but as of right now none of the remaining 6 have external pips. Godspeed Henrietta(IL), Bingham(ME), Prairie(NE), Bucks(OH), Liberty(NY), and Cheese(WI).

I can't tell At this point the remaining eggs have been rolled around so much, and there's so much fluff static adhered on the lid, I can't actually see most of the marks! I can see IL, OH, WI, NY, ME, and IN. Based on the number of chicks that have hatched that should only leave two three unidentified eggs, but I'm counting 4 that the marking is where I can't see I really can't count them!

Bluebonnet hatched out overnight though, I can see the empty eggshell!
