Out of the three incubators that were fully loaded when we lost power I have these survivors:

5 Giant Coturnix
4 of Charlotte's
3 of Reds
2 of Whitey's last eggs did hatch and so far are fine, they hatched yesterday about 3 days late and I'm giving the other 2 eggs a couple more days.

Lost:
All Buttons (again, I give up)
All of my own quails eggs, the ones that were killed.
The rest of Charlotte's, Whitey's, Hershey's, the Sister's, the Silkie's, and the Polish.

I guess 14 was better than nothing all things considered, but it sure puts a damper on my enthusiasm right now. I wanted to try and do Buttons in the class but I'm not going to do anything until after Christmas now.

Sorry for your loss

This may intrest you, I am going to make a few of these, since we have had more hurricanes in our area lately, here is the link http://www.rain.org/~philfear/how2solar.html
it
is fairly inexpensive, and considering how bad you feel over your loss, it will be worth it to hopefully never have to feel that way again!!! I am going to make the SUPER one to run my whole water pump shed!!!

I am so sorry you lost your fluffies :aww
