FINALLY!!!

After so much time, money, and energy, we have our first egg!! I’m so proud! (Idk why). Now the game “who laid it” begins. Out of my 4 girls old enough to lay, I have no idea. They’re only 19 weeks old I was thinking it’d be a while longer, so I had no egg box ready. It was just on the floor in the coop. All the girls acting perfectly normal.
It’s a little small and spotted, but I love this egg!!

They’re red sex links, I THINK daddy was Rhode Island Red and mamma was Sussex. But I KNOW they are wonderful chickens. They’re red, Friendly, docile and spoiled rotten.

It’s a red sex-link based off of that picture. My guess is not Sussex, but Delaware crossed which would explain the speckles.
