Idk.. I have prob gotten 80 birds from them and I’ve never had a genetic problem

I lost two birds from them this year, my first time ever loosing chicks. Both chicks were Marans and I suspected something genetic. They're hatchery stock so they're allowed to mix their lines some. I guarantee you they sometimes do.

that makes sense ig... im still not convinced. the feathering just showed up this week and she is 6 months, so she wasn't born with them. its also not at the comment place, imagance the chicken foot. in between the toes you can see lil feathers. ill tag everyone here on my thread. it will be up in a hour when I get home.
