TOTALLY new to raising chickens but excited to get feedback and share thoughts and ideas.
I bought 4 chicks and my local farm and home this spring and quickly went to work on trying to get them setup with outside accommodations as quickly as possible so I went to Marketplace and bought a COOP kit from someone only to realize it wouldn't have been big enough for ONE chick let alone 4. So I started designing a coop I could make temporary if need be and attached to my existing shed. I designed one in 3D and went to work, around $500 later and here we are.
An 8'x10' run with a nice size coop with 3 boxes and fully enclosed with a roof and everything.
