First time Duck Egg Hatching advice needed....

I know it should be in lockdown bit I just had to candle to make sure because I can't take my eyes off it and I wanted to know of I'm wasting my time.. please check out video
that egg looks bad to me. Did you see any movement inside when you candled it? If so leave it in the bator because sometimes when they look like that it can fool you but I wouldn't count on it. The thing is you don't want it to explode and contaminate all the others. Watch very carefully and don't let that happen.

That doesn't look good. But let me tag some more experienced with hatching. I let my ducks do the work.

Sorry for the late reply I'm currently watching 8 kids so things are a little busy here😅 anyways I agree it does look bad to me and if it is smelling fishy that's not usually a good sign. I'm sorry for your loss it's always sad when eggs don't make it, but don't let this stop you from trying again. Hatching really is a learning experience and even those of us who have been hatching for years still have eggs that don't make it.
