Hi!! My black east indie egg is on day 26 and I have a few questions!!
First thing, I put it into lockdown on day 24 (Monday) and due to a lot of movement, I candled the baby just a few minutes ago (it was only out of the incubator for less than a minute, lol) and I see some slight shadowing in the air cell!! No internal pip yet. Now for my questions, I'm assuming I'll have an internal pip by tomorrow and I plan to candle tomorrow night (I have a call egg I have to turn for a few more days so I'll be opening the incubator regardless) to make sure I catch the internal pip so I know when to assist - which brings me to my second question. Are east indies the same as calls when it comes to hatching? Or can I relax and not worry too much about needing to assist?
