First time open water.

The ducks are like 5 year old children and wont come out of the swimming pool. They loved it. First time free floating in fresh natural rain water. I love ducks.

Patos did he had to chase them home jumped in the lake! He came in the house soaking wet and https://www.backyardchickens.com/members/patos.530385/) cussing the ducks and cold water its winter. Our babies 7 months old should lay in 30 days.

We (Patos) are in Chile we have to give suplimential light because it's fall\winter. Otherwise IDK.

They may wait till spring to start laying but once they start they will lay like gang busters. I don’t think I’d force it.
