PS, to rehome roosters and cockerels, most folks on BYC seem to have good luck posting to their local FACEBOOK group for poultry. You might also post to BYC's list for your state or country. At certain times of year, you may be able to find a 4H group interested in the bird if he could be shown. To give the boy a good chance at a home rather than a soup pot,

1. Include breed if known, and where you got the bird

2. Include info on the bird's behavior towards other chickens and roosters, and toward people!

3. Explain why you are getting rid of him.

4. If you can, include a photo.

5. Include the town or county you are in so folks know how far they would have to come to get the bird.
