In order to optimize room in my coop I would love to be able to find a flat wall mounted chicken waterer. Something akin to the bin feeders but wide in width and shallow in depth and tall that would Mount vertically on a coop wall?

Any ideas?

I have seen hanging metal waterers that are flat, BUT they don't open up for a quality clean out... so I haven't ever bought one, but here is a photo:

Another option would be a PVC pipe nipple waterer. Those are super skinny.

Rectangle trash can with horizontal nipples. You could put nipples on 3 sides. Raise the waterer up using cap blocks or make something to set it up high enough for them. Make some kind of top for it, to keep dirt and dust out.

In your climate I would just keep water in the run.

Alternately a PVC nipple waterer would be pretty close to the wall. I have never done one though because cleaning seems impossible.

The thing I like about having a water source inside their covered coop is that they don't have to leave their coop if weather is rainy to get some water.

I had one of these waterers long ago and my objection to it was the same as yours; no practical way to clean the inside of the 'canteen'
