Floppy Comb turning purple...what could be the cause?

View attachment 3855816Please, does anyone know what the original poster’s hen’s illness is or how to treat it? My hen is going on bout three with floppy comb, dark blue, lethargy, diarrhea. She’s been extremely sick each time. Every 4-6 weeks, the illness comes back.

To add, crop is emptying in morning. Not noticing signs of respiratory illness. 2 year old ISA Brown hen. Sleeping nearly constantly now. Droopy feathers.

Thanks for the link and for your time, both of you. Sometimes it seems like older threads have more engagement, and I thought previous posters might chime in since the conditions are very similar. I’ll stick to my own thread to keep the communication clearer.
