Hi There but she isn't a blue heeler but an Australian Cattle dog. She is actually an AKC champion now and almost a grand champion who is taking some time off her show career to ( hopefully ) have a litter of puppies. They are great dogs , maybe I will train them to herd the chickens, LOL!
Missie
Wish I'd known about this group before I got my chicks. I really only wanted three and I wanted at least one that laid blue eggs. Oh well, I'm enjoying the heck out of watching these chicks grow.
I have a wonderful Australorp rooster, but no hens yet. The roo is good enough I want to breed him with some good hens. I also have a flock of golden laced wyandottes. We have similar taste in chickens. We will have to get together sometime.
Our Australorp is a funny (and sweet) girl...she follows my husband all around...
We were suppose to have 3 Australorps, but 2 ended up being Wyandottes...not complaining they are sweet girls and I wouldn't give them up.
Would love to get together some time...would be nice to talk to someone who doesn't think I'm crazy because I have chickens
