Foam egg shippers?

I just wondered if anybody has tried these foam egg shippers. If so did it help get the eggs there intact? here is the link.

Hi Danny. Someone on here had posted about shipping all their eggs with those. They swore by them being the best way to ship. I cannot remember who it was either. But they also had a tutorial on how they did it.

I've received 3 shipments from folks using them with 100% no breakage.

I have not personaly shipped with this material put have gotten eggs shipped that with these and have not gotten any broken eggs in the process, not even cracks. I am still checking into the priceing of it but have not gotten far with it. But from a receiveng end from it, it seems to work good.

I DO NOT recommend those foam shippers. I bought two dozen eggs from someone on eBay who used them. The eggs arrived intact, but only 4 out of the 24 eggs hatched. When I checked the duds, I found that all the yolks had been scrambled.

Another set of eggs, packed in bubble wrap and shipped from farther away, set at the same time, in the same incubator, had a 95% success rate.

My theory is that the foam holds the eggs so tightly that, when there's any jarring of the package, the inside of the egg absorbs all the impact.

Just my two cents.

I recently received 15 eggs shipped in the foam shippers. 3 of the eggs were crushed, and another 2 were cracked. The outside of the box looked fine (no signs of being dropped, no dents or dings). Just looking at the box I would have thought every egg would have been fine. It is by far the worst shipment I have received.

I have received eggs in foam 3 times. Each time there were several eggs broken and the others had had a bad trip. I won't buy from anyone anymore who uses foam, if I can help it.

I had some packed in foam too, I thought it was really neat, but I had 0/6 hatch, only one even looked like it started to develop.

I wonder why people even buy eggs. The post office ruins every shipment i order. I was just trying to figure out a better way. I don't understand how eggs could get broke in the foam shippers if they were packed properly.

Maybe the foam is just too tight on the egg. I really don't know. I got some eggs in the mail last week which were packed pretty good with jsut bubble wrap and styrofoam peanuts.
