food- house or run?

Our coop has half of it that's like a sun-porch - it's elevatad and has a wood roof, but is enclosed with wire. It has a door that opens onto the true run. It's now mostly covered with plastic for the winter. That is where we keep the feed and water. When they are out free ranging they have a water bowl that they can access too.

I havent had to do this yet, but I figure if I set a certain time to feed them inside the coop, it will be easier to get them in for the night, so thats what I will probably try.

I agree on locking them in for a week. Move the food and h2o in side and let them get used to the coop. Then move it out next week. The will learn.
