Below are some pictures of one of my ducks crumble. She has previously had bumble foot before and it cleared up mostly apart from the scab which isn’t the softest. Is this normal and will it burst on it own? I would like to avoid taking her to a vet as she’s a very nervous duck and absolutely hates travel (the nearest avian vet is a while away) she doesn’t appear in too much pain with it, walks well but won’t let me apply too much pressure. Do I continue to soak in salt water, I’ve been applying an antiseptic too. Is there anything else I can do before I take her to the vet? My other ducks don’t seem to suffer from this an awful lot but she’s a special cause because she hates water, I try keep help feet clean from poo as much as possible but sure it’s not helped they don’t get cleaned in their pool.
