[Enchanted Sunrise Farms]

i ordered more self-blue silkie chicks than i wanted to ensure they would all get here alive and well. Currently looking to downsize and sell about 8 of them. Thought i would list them here before i put them on craigslist, in case any bycers nearby are interested. They were hatched on February 18th, so just over a week old now. All are healthy and thriving. i would like to sell them for $8 each, but would consider a discount if someone wanted all eight of them.

i plan on keeping the ones that look like they will have a more vaulted head, but the color is wonderful on all of them.

Oh, do you have any with the 2 toned feet too? Lily's feet are half black, half pinkish.. I am sure someone will want them.. I have more coming from Ideal next week. They do have beautiful coloring..

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing. I have hatched many silkies and never seen two tone toes. You have some nice vaulted ones in there. I got 2 one died from shipping and both did not have prominent poofs. I have 6 more coming from Ideal in 2 weeks, hopefully they will be ok in the trip. I would have taken them from you in a snap, now I will have to figure out who to give my packing peanuts to. I got lucky last time. Well good luck! Tell them they can say hi to Lily anytime they want to.

i've had silkies with two tone toes before and the two-toneness goes away over time. i had two that died, also - one was dead on arrival and one died shortly thereafter. Both had wonderful vaulted heads. Oh well.

i do have some left with the vaulted heads, about 5 of them (hard to count as i have such an active herd).

i had a lot of takers for the packing peanuts when i listed mine on craigslist. Just put them up asap, while they're small and cute.

i'm not sure how much to ship, but i wouldn't want to put these little ones through it. You might want to order some direct from Ideal. They have reasonable prices and it's better to ship when they're new born and have those three days of nourishment from the yolk sac.

Hi, gosh, no i don't. i managed to sell all the ones i wanted to. Did you want just the lavender (self-blue) ones? If you don't mind what color, there is a lady who lives in Lincoln who raises a lot of silkies, really cool ones like Frizzles and Sizzles (which might mean the same thing - LOL).

There is also a feed store in your neck of the woods that has baby chicks, and i saw they had some silkies in - not the lavender, but greys and blues.
