I ordered Pharoah/ brown eggs. Of the 66 to hatch i have 2 that are almost solid yellow. Can anyone tell me what genetic trait is coming through?

Those are probably dotted whites. I can't see if there's a black spot on the head or not, but they sometimes get mixed in with other jumbos since they have been bred for jumbo size as well.

If it doesn't have the dot, you may want to check the eyes. If the eyes are red, they're albino. Albinos tend to have a lot of health issues and usually go blind if they don't start out that way. That chick looks healthy, so I doubt it's albino.

Thank you for the response. I'll get a better picture later. I just put them in the brooder so didn't want to mess with them very much until they have a chance to relax after the change in environment.

Egyptian is a pharoah bird carrying a fee gene. Silver will always be silver over whatever base, but if it is heterozygous half the chicks will be the base color (pharoah, Italian, Rosetta). White tends to throw varying patches/tuxedo over the base.
