I use the Latin plurals every chance I get - “did you see those two Ford Tauri racing down the road?” . It drives non-Latin-speakers nuts!

I've used a LOT of forums since I started doing this over 20 years ago. I don't know too many that use the term "fora".

For fun, I did a Google search and was interested in this response:

If that multi-billion $$ company is comfortable using the term "Forums", then I am too

Just stick with simply you prefer to keep it as forums; please don’t invoke Google as the arbiter of truth!

And the plural of index is "indeces!" Weather forecasters used to use this word but apparently got howled down by the ignorant barbarian masses (that is, those who were not forced to take a minimum of two years of Latin in high school!). Those of us who were so indentured get to feel smug and superior about it so there!
