Found this listing on Craigslist for Amish made coops in the Harrisburg area, they look pretty nice

I would buy from them. We have bought from the Amish since 1985. (We have a community an hour SW of us, where they have an auction house as well as private businesses.) Just bear in mind: if it is finished, you can get it right away; IF they have to construct it, plan on waiting...sometimes months. They are very good craftsman, and like to take their time to do a good job. Just thought you'd like to know.

They sell those around here, too. Most of them are at the places that also sell sheds, chairs, rabbit hutches, etc. and you can "rent to own." Personally, I think their prices are outrageous, but maybe that's just me. Also, this may not be the same company, but they sure look identical to the ones I've seen around here.

That listing is on Craigslist for all over PA, its been listed in State College, Wilkes Barre, Erie, etc. In State College there was a posting indicating this was a middle man and that the person did not have a good experience with them. I have no personal knowledge of them.

I do know that the 4x4 chicken coop www.myarmishgoods.com lists for $1,055 looks exactly like the one I bought earlier this summer at Martin's Garden Center in Tyrone PA for $620.

Not to put down amish coops but They all look the same to me, its like if your getting chickens those are the first coops people see. I guess I just like different.
