Fowl pox on chick

This poor baby has had fowl pox for weeks now. Should I just cull her? how long will this last? It doesn’t seem to be improving at all, I’m doing iodine, vetericyn and neosporin to treat but the scabs aren’t falling off and more are developing. Also giving her a boiled egg a day and rooster booster in water and I have her separated from the bigger chickens.

What does the eye look like?

I would just paint the scabs with Iodine. Don't smear or rub the Pox Lesions, this will cause it to spread.
If the eye is closed, then put Original Neosporin or Terramycin eye ointment IN the eye.

Your first thread was Oct 14th about seeing fowl pox, this was about 3 weeks or so ago.
It takes several weeks for the virus to run it's course. If she's eating/drinking on her own, still gaining weight and is overall holding her own, then I'd wait and see if she will begin to heal up.
Once the virus has run its course, she will have gained resistance.

Yes she’s still eating. She does have lesions on the inside of her beak, not into the throat yet. And I have been dotting iodine on the pox multiple times a day and putting neosporin on her. Based on my googling it seems most people say it starts to improve after 2-3 weeks, I’m just worried that I’m not seeing any improvement yet and hers started on oct 16, the mother hen is completely healed up already now. Is it possible she’ll be like this for over a month, I just don’t know what else I can do for her bc nothing seems to be working

Wet pox inside the beak is a worse complication, but she should be getting near the end of this. I would wet some chicken feed to offer her and that would be more nutritious than just egg. You can mix a little egg into it to get her taking some. Treat the eye with Neosporin or Terramycin. Let us know how she gets along. I hope she survives this.

She’s still eating her chick feed as well thankfully! I hope she starts getting better soon, this has been so sad, the other chicks I had already passed. They had it all in their mouth and throat and stopped eating

If she's eating and drinking I wouldn't cull her. I'd keep doing what you're doing and just watch and wait
Sorry to hear you lost the others to wet pox. Lost 2 pullets to wet fowl pox myself last year. There is a vaccine for fowl pox that you can get from valley vet that you can give to any new birds you get in the future that'll protect them from getting the disease
