Hi, I have a bird with fowl pox. It’s horrible. The bird got the fowl pox after an injury from another rooster. I didn’t realize what it was until late and then removed from the flock. He’s still eating, I’ve just been keeping him in a cage on my porch. Warm and dry. My question is, if he recovers, can he go back with the flock? I put acidified copper sulfate in the water of the rest of the flock ( I keep a bachelor flock) and the 3 remaining show no symptoms. I’m debating humanely euthanasia as for fear of infecting my remaining flock. The infection is in his mouth by not obstructing his air. But would he contaminate their water for life? Thx. I’ll post a picture of him. It’s horrible
