All of my birds have been exposed to fowl pox. I have lost 7. I have chicks that need to be put in a bigger pen outside. Should I vaccinate them? I ordered Poxine but there aren't directions for peafowl. If anyone knows please help

If you have had birds with fowl pox then yes, you should probably be vaccinating everything that comes into your flock. If you just wanted to vaccinate and hadn't HAD pox, then it would be a bad idea, but seeing as you know there is an infection present (and have lost birds), it would be appropriate. As for dosage, if there's a dose for chickens listed, that is what I would give to a pea unless someone else can chime in with better.

Not sure why you are plucking feathers. Is that in the directions? If so, they will tell you where if it's important, and if they don't tell you where you could probably pluck from anywhere.

I would also like the answer to this question. I live in mosquito central here. None of my others were ever vaccinated for it but I know how ugly pox can get. I've seen it on my chickens, not my peafowl though and they were never vaccinated.
