My parent's found a male pit about 3 months ago, owners were never found. He must find a great home soon. He is way to much dog for my parents to handle! They have had all of his vetting done, including neuter, now he just needs a home. Willing to meet if needed for the distance! He was only 25lbs when they found him, now he is 55lbs and still needs 10 more lbs! He is a doll and loves everyone. Ok with other animals, but still young and full of life!

Note: My parents live in Strawberry Plains, TN, I live in Lenior City, We are very willing to travel for a good home!

Must be good home

Bless you guys for taking him in! My beloved male passed away last June.

I'd like to help, but I have two pits of my own plus a foster. If it were not for the foster I'd seriously consider a road trip! Good luck!

I wish I could take him in but I have so many now.. Maybe PitBull Rescue could help find him a forever home. I will look to see if I can find anyone in your area.

He is gorgeous!! I hope he finds a wonderful home very soon. Bless your parents for taking him in, nursing him back to health, and, most of all, having him neutered!!

Aw, he is SO gorgeous! I hope you find a really good home for him. Be VERY VERY careful. You know what lots of people would want him for. they will come to your house and act like they want him for a pet...sometimes even bringing a child along with them to make it look real. But they want him for one thing and it's not good. So just be really careful. I'd hate to see such a wonderful dog end up in the wrong hands. I have a wonderful pit myself and and have never had a better dog. If you can get him into a rescue organization they are really picky about homes, even going to far as to do home inspections. I rescued a rottie off the side of the road about 5 months ago and got her all fattened up and vetted. I got a rottie rescue organization to accept her into their program and she left for her foster home last Friday.

We have tried rescues and most say since he was a stray, not a puppy, doesn't look pure, etc they can't and won't take him

I have been thinking about just bringing him home here, but I don't think him and a goat, rabbits, etc may not get along. I think we may have found a home with our neighbor though, Kevin's best friend, but he has a super young male unneutered puppy, so I guess we will see how that works out.
