I am so sorry. I'll never, ever understand why people have to be that way. There are a whole lot of animals out there that are more objectionable than a few hens. Personally, I have enough on my hands running my own life: I don't have time to try to run my neighbors' lives, as well.

There are places that actually forbid having any kind of outside clothes line. That's why I DON'T live in one of those places.

Its because drying your clothes on a line is considered a stereotype for low income housing.. thus some believe that if their neighbors dry their clothes on lines in their backyard, it'll lower the value of their homes. *shrugs* So much for going green, eh?

Post them on Craigslist and you can find a good home.
I adopted a couple roos after I lost a few to a dog.
The peoples little girl was so cute, she hadto ask if
we was going to eat her Roosters.

I told her now they was going to live at my place and
keep my hens company since they lost their roosters.
That made her happy, and my hens happy too.

Well that's just plain stupid!!! I am so glad I don't have upitty, upitty neighbors. Most folks around here have close lines, even some of the wealthier households. Glad to know I don't live in a neighborhood like that!!

You want to talk about crappy neighbors??? Mine called the cops on me because my brother came and mowed my lawn and shot grass on His side of the fence, its a chainlink fence and the grass went thru and YES the cops actually came to my door at 10:00 at night to inform me of this....I laughed in their face and told them I really Hope youre kidding !!! So this may be part of the reason I have a very large loud dog and 4 crowing roosters and there isnt a darn thing he can do about that ! people are CRAZY

This is why I went out of my way to find a property as far as possible from neighbors. I can't see any of my neighbors and they can't see me and we all mind our own business. I can have whatever animals I want and laundry on the line and grass up to my ears and nobody says a thing about it. I gave up on humanity in general when I was still a kid (you learn the true nature of people young when your mom dies and the other kids pick on you about it).
