Seeds are a living thing. This banner is self-explanatory and for some hosts who work or are on holiday, we might miss a donation.
🧠 Think about becoming a co-host. We ask them to check on the Seed Library near them or any that might be on the way to and fro. Tidy up, take a photo and post in our main group.

Roses love our growing zone.
(You can find your growing zone on our website)
The 1st year they would love a little extra water and some shade if planted on the west side.
Never , ever worry about the leaves that have the round
"cutouts." You are supporting the leaf cutter bees. Be proud!
Take time to smell them and enjoy the great outdoors.

This is one of our best producing green grapevines. It is an unknown variety that we planted over 5 years ago. We decided to let this one grow wild, but do share cuttings at our "city farm" homestead headquarters at times.

Finger limes loves our Sonoran desert.
They are great in drinks and salad dressings and used as a garnish.
They dont mind full sun once established and our native soil. Think about growing one on your property.

While out wild harvesting looking for a few ocotillo flowers, you might come across a few snakes.
The 1st one was small, and then the 2nd larger one was right on the trail.
Once we tried to move him off, he curled up and wanted to strike. This is a gopher snake that is harmless, but still a bit eeekkkk..
The other fun find is this ladybug larva on a wolf berry plant with fruits.
As always, our mission is to support the wildlife. We did give the little guy a drink of h20, and he was happy.

This varigated vitex trifolia can be shaped into a tree as it grows or let it grow wild.
A great pollinator doesn't mind our soil and full sun.
