From broody to no balance

I have a show girl who went broody about 7 days ago. You all were very helpful in helping me decide to break her of her broodiness. I'm home most of the day, so I was able to get her out of her broody state in about 2 days after I started trying ( she had already been broody about 2). She is low girl on the pecking order, so she usually just hunters down quite a bit anyway, but Monday night I noticed she seemed less active than usual. Tuesday I took her on a solo yard adventure with me and made sure she ate and drank after she would not come out of the coop. Yesterday, I noticed yellow and dark green poops and her struggling to stand. I had a girl just 2 months ago that passed after trying to lay, and I fed her by syringe for almost a week, treating for sour crop and coccidosis to no avail, her poops looked the same before passing. I am giving egg and rooster booster in a sick pen, but she still just seems of balance, using her wing to catch her every step she does take. She also had an Epsom salt soak, and I got her to eat about a quarter of a TUMS. I've checked for mites and lice on all of my girls. What am I doing wrong? I feel like I'm slowly killing off my flock. 😟

Does she feel underweight? Feel her breast. Is it plump and rounded, or sharp and pointed? Post a picture of her poop. Green poop can indicate starvation. Offer her regular feed that you have wet down with watrr to make into a mash.

I see you have tums, any access to Calcium+vitD ? From grocery store?

Sorry that I don't have much help to offer. We just recently lost two girls not long ago for reproductive/laying issues and nothing I did helped, so I get it being draining and disheartening for you. Just all around rough.

(Sorry if this is repeat)

But what sort of set up do you have, food, bedding, photos help a ton. Feeders? (Just tossing out suggestions that may help see overall picture)

I can run to the store and get some.
Sure here's some photos. The coop is 40sqft. The run is 60. They do not free range. They are fed 20% IFA layer feed. We are building a bigger run as we have chicks. The run and coop are scooped daily. There is sweet pdz in the coop. Rita, the sick showgirl has her mini roost corner. She usually just sleeps is the space it makes though. You can see my other 3 in the photo. They get about a tablespoon each of "love my girls" treats each evening, and sometimes some veggies. They love the broccoli stalks! We got them in February I believe. The lady we bought them from said they were late summer chicks. The jersey giant that passed never laid. Rita has been laying maybe a month before going broody. The rest are regular layers (the dark brahma just hit a 30 day streak yesterday 😯) thank you for any advice.

I know a recommendation is to cease all treats, at least for a while. I believe recommendation is 1tbp per bird 1-2x a week? I could be wrong.

Any pictures of bird in question? Vent/under feathers/beak/overall side pics?

NutriDrench or Poultry cell are good boosts? Same with electrolytes to encourage eating.

Egg mash as well.

I have no idea who to tag, @TwoCrows ???

ETA: have you ever worked your girls?

She hasn't gotten any treats the past 2 days. I will cut back on them for the other girls then. I forgot I do give them a little kalmbach henhouse reserve as "scratch" once a day since there is no grass. That is a fancy feed though which is nutritionally complete to my understanding. As you can see she has some poop on her feathers again since yesterday's soak. I'm guessing you mean wormed... haha I had to re read that a few times, got a good laugh. I have not and I will do that because that has crossed my mind. She has rooster booster, scrambled egg, and some wetted feed in the dog crate at the moment. Took her out for a picture though.

I have never wormed a chicken, I keep hearing about this aquasol stuff... would that work?
I am so sorry she is struggling. :hugs

How old is she? Under weight does sound like a worm issue, especially if she is a few years old and has never been wormed.

I agree with @PrettyBirdRocky Safe Guard is a pretty broad spectrum wormer and will clear out most species of worms. You can get this as horse paste or liquid goat wormer in most feed stores. If she is struggling to walk or stand, I would do this asap.
