From broody to no balance

I am so sorry she is struggling. :hugs

How old is she? Under weight does sound like a worm issue, especially if she is a few years old and has never been wormed.

I agree with @PrettyBirdRocky Safe Guard is a pretty broad spectrum wormer and will clear out most species of worms. You can get this as horse paste or liquid goat wormer in most feed stores. If she is struggling to walk or stand, I would do this asap.
Are corid and safe guard safe to give together? I don't think Ive ever run across this question?

I found a store fairly close that says they have in stock. I don't think we have time to wait for shipping, so I'm going to get now. She would be maybe 9 months from my understanding. I have corid on hand from attempting that treatment with my last one who got sick.

I've done it. I think it's fine, I probably asked this also, but don't recall the answer. I think I wouldn't have done it if someone had said it wasn't fine. Of course, safe guard is dosed in syringe, and CORID goes in the water, so they're given at roughly the same time, but not "together".

That's what I figured but wanted to double check as I've never done both at once.

@DSJMHenDen good luck and let's hope it helps. Keep us posted

I do it all the time, I don't like to waste any time if a bird is really struggling and do both Corid and worming at the same time. Since Corid doesn't have any side effects, at least none that I can tell, if I am unsure on the diagnosis they get it all at once.

And yes, this could be a Coccidia issue too, many times if they have worms, they can have the protozoa Coccidiosis as well.

Just mixed up some of this by instructions in box. Said to mix in the water. Mixed it for all of them, but poured some in Rita's little waterer and going to give some by syringe of she doesn't drink some on her own. Thank you everyone for taking time to respond and help. I am not optimistic, but time will tell.
