Got the burlap on the lilac and lemon and trimmed them both. Also trimmed the small lilacs but did not wrap those. If Igor says ONE more word about the junk pile I’m going to tell him to shut up or clean it up himself

IM,, Since we discussed Refried beans here, just wanted to share here. Always experimenting.
After soaking my pinto beans overnight,, I cooked them with a packet of Taco Seasoning.

Once mashed,, I made bean burritos. I used corn tortillas, so technically not a burrito. The lines in the beans are from me spreading on tortilla with a fork. I then made these corn rolls,, and ate them.

I ran across the jar sealer attachments
for my vacuum sealer, thought those were long gone but DH moved them out to the garage

We must have got a bad batch of O2 absorbers because I had a few bags that didn’t shrink down well but the handy dandy jar sealer saved the day. I LOVE my vac sealer!

I have a ton of flour and plenty of eggs to use up so I’m going to make a few big batches of egg noodles and store them this way for the summer.

Watered this morning and noticed an Armenian cucumber sprout. Beefed up security with an upside down tomato cage wrapped in chicken wire to keep the wild birds away until it’s too big to damage easily. I’m done for today, back has been hurting the last couple days so taking it easy until the weekend.

Also, Frank is 7 years old today. Dad might bring him a special snack.
