Spanish style pintos. I had more than four quarts so I made some refried beans for tacos tomorrow

Meatloaf for dinner. This has about half a teaspoon of powdered leafy greens, a tablespoon of powdered mixed vegetables, and a teaspoon of turmeric hidden in it.

It was a two pound meatloaf, 1.5 hours to reach 165 in the center.
IM,,, Weather permitting,, you can do a lot of your cooking outside,, without heating up your house. :thumbsup
Did I also mention for FREE.:highfive:

Here in my cave, during summer, we do more BBQ grilling outdoors.
I also made a refractory base, I place on grill so that I can bake pizzas. Side burner I can boil pots of cooking food.
Propane is of course not free, but it does not heat up the house, so no need to AC. :old

Thank you Cavey, we do BBQ but it’s terrible hot here in the summer. 110+ for weeks and only cooling to the mid 90’s at night. It’s a drag to BBQ much when it’s that hot; when we do we fill the grill. We use charcoal for grilling, propane is for canning :) Our A/C is already on, likely until November. We will be up to 102 this week. I’m thinking about putting the shade up over the garden this coming weekend.
 
Powder is broody and on eggs, that ends tonight. Keeping an eye on temps, need to do something about some deep shade for the crew until the trees grow out more. Corn is doing great! Roselle and luffa are coming along but it is getting hot fast. Cukes have flowers.
