No. My two sisters-in-law and our daughter would come for a funeral, but Ron didn't want a fuss. My two sisters live in the Midwest, but have health issues and probably wouldn't be able to attend.

I think something simple like a celebration of life service is possible, just not right away.

Our son is here at home, and he is a tremendous help and blessing.

I believe the older hens have started laying again. I had one egg yesterday, three today. The three pullets are laying every other day, so...



I was thinking today about the second hoop coop I am planning on building. I may start collecting the materials: cattle panels, hardware cloth, pressure treated lumber, and fender washers. I have one roll of hardware cloth (hwc) on hand, but will need more.
