I don't raise Chinese I raise white Africans but to get the white color white Chinese were breed in generations ago. Anyway sounds like you have a plan with the 2 girls. With any geese it is how you raise them. Young bonding with rules just like a young child makes all the difference. Teach them young with commands like home an no, yum yum ect. They will be the first and happy to greet you every morning. There are difficult stages just like raising children. I teach mine inside voice and many of my geese know there names and will verbally respond. April will have full conversations with me. They all like to help when Im doing something even my wildest gander will come lay close when Im pulling weeds. I do have over 40 geese so it gets a little crazy around here this time of year. I ship day olds out every year and its amazing how many folks want more the next year. Goose Math.

In my opinion the good always outweighs the bad.

The best way I can describe geese is their like toddlers. Atleast ours are lol.

Yeah, I don't know how common that is.
It was the first one though, that's common with chickens at any rate.

Our first two eggs had blood smears on them from our new goose Greta. I figure probably normal for first time layers. Although we didn't have that with our girl Gizzy.
